What is a wedding celebrant?
A wedding celebrant writes and officiates personalised weddings and vow renewal ceremonies. If you choose this route, you can expect a personal and unique service – no two scripts will be the same; I will be writing your story to share with your guests. It will be as unique as the two of you!

Do we meet before booking with you?
Yes! We can meet via Zoom, or in person – depending on location, to discuss initial ideas and make initial plans.

Where do you work from?
I am based in Harrogate.

How much are your services?
I charge £695 for a wedding, which includes a rehearsal before the big day, script drafts, delivery on the day and as much contact as you may need leading up to your ceremony.

Are the services legal?
Not yet. The legal bit needs to be done at an official register office. Once you have done that part, we can incorporate as much individualism as you like into your ceremony. The style, location and content are yours to create, with my help of course!

When should we book?
As soon as possible!
After booking your venue you will need to know who your celebrant is and many get booked up well in advance.
Celebrant Fees

Weddings and Vow Renewals
• Introductory call and first meeting together.
• Deposit of £200 to secure your date.
• You will then receive the Couple’s Questionnaire to fill in and return so that the creation of your bespoke ceremony can begin.
• Contact with Alli, as and when needed, in the lead up to your big day. We will have email communication to ensure you are happy with the individual script which is being created for you.
• Final payment will be required 10 days prior to the ceremony date.
• 2nd meeting to take place at your venue. We can have a rehearsal if required.
• 3rd meeting will be the day of the ceremony itself.
• Ceremony, officiated by Alli, you will then receive a keepsake memento and wedding certificate following your ceremony.
2024 Fees
• £695 celebrant fee
Costs to be agreed prior to the ceremony
• £0.45 per mile if 30 miles beyond Harrogate
• Dress costs if specific requirements are needed to fit in with your ceremony
• Personalised poem £45
• Personalised poem £60 if Alli is not conducting your ceremony
• Overnight accommodation if necessary
• Any other miscellaneous costs as agreed by both parties
2025 Fees
• £725 celebrant fee
Costs to be agreed prior to the ceremony
• £0.45 per mile if 30 miles beyond Harrogate
• Dress costs if specific requirements are needed to fit in with your ceremony
• Personalised poem £45
• Personalised poem £60 if Alli is not conducting your ceremony
• Overnight accommodation if necessary
• Any other miscellaneous costs as agreed by both parties

Baby Naming Ceremony
• Introductory call and first meeting together.
• Deposit of £200 to secure your date.
• We will then set about creating your story. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire and return it to me.
• We will communicate via email to ensure that you are happy with the bespoke ceremony script which has been created for you.
• Final payment will be required 10 days prior to the ceremony date.
• 2nd meeting to take place at your venue. We can have a rehearsal if required.
• 3rd meeting will be the day of the ceremony itself.
• Ceremony, officiated by Alli, you will then receive a keepsake memento and naming certificate following you ceremony.
