A Naming Ceremony is a unique, non-religious way of celebrating the birth of your baby.

In your Naming / Welcoming Ceremony, together we can write the promises and commitments you choose to make to your baby or child. You may like to involve other members of your family or wider friendship group (Guideparents). They may like to demonstrate their support and love in their own words through poetry, story or music.

Perhaps you would like to make this ceremony into one in which you welcome an adopted child or stepchildren into your family?

The ceremony can be wherever you like. Perhaps in your own garden or home. Or maybe at your favourite place to go on family outings. It could be at a local hotel or a village hall. 

Anywhere really; It’s your day, you should have it your way!
